'Our Own Agora' Part 2

The last area for evaluation is the method we used during the exercise. A results-based approach would have to conclude that our method was efficient, since we managed to agree on a final version for our proposal . Even if we judge the method by looking only at how the communication process developed, our class performance was definitely a success, taken into consideration the constraints of the situation.

As to my position towards the discussion in class, I believe I would best fit the ‘Accommodation’ type of approach. I was satisfied with the grade I got in the exam, so I felt that the ones who were going to be more directly affected by the new grading policy had a greater right at taking initiative and leading the conversation. I was satisfied with the overall result, and as I pointed out earlier I think the most important result is the fact that we agreed on an opt-out resolution that would represent the interest and values of all the students in the class.
